Sono studentessa di italiano!

I've been wanting to learn Italian for years now. After many Italian language tapes, a conversational class at Delgado, and a few trips to Italy (and more in the future), I've decided it's time to really do this. Most likely the oldest person registered in the Italian I class at UNO, can one learn a new language at middle age? My swiss cheese like memory and crazy schedule will make it challenging, but what the hell? What am I waiting for?
